Harpers
Ferry National Historical Park preserves the flavor of the town at the time of
John Brown's raid in 1859. Park visitors will see period clothing, craft demonstrations,
and recreations of a town frozen in time - all explained and acted out by professional
National Park Service guides.
The John Brown Wax Museum sits in the center
of the historic town, graphically telling the Story of
John
Brown and the Raid on Harpers Ferry. Voice, music, and animation enhance the
experience.
