then Rt. 340 west to Charles Town,
after you cross the Potomac and the Shenandoah Rivers,

Twenty miles from Frederick, MD and seven miles from Charles Town, WV, the John Brown Wax Museum is located on High Street in the heart of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and adjacent to the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park. The historic wax museum building existed during the time of John Brown's raid in 1859.

Metered Parking - There is limited 2 hour metered parking behind the museum. You must have a mobile app to pay.

The best option is to park in the HFNHP's parking locations: 1) At the Park's Washington St. entrance or 2) the Bolivar Heights. The other Park locations are the 3) Amtrak station behind the museum and 4) near the Shenandoah St. entrance. payment boxThe Shenandoah St. enterance has a donation box rather than an attendant to take your entrance fee, but it's a long walk to the museum. Avoid Parking, Take the Local Bus - The local Route 20 bus goes through Harpers Ferry, check the schedule.
